Reflexology for sleep and relaxation

When rest feels just out of reach.

You may be tired all day yet wide awake when your head finally reaches the pillow. This is protected time to stop trying, settle back and let yourself rest.

Being exhausted is not always the same as feeling able to rest.

A busy mind, an unsettled night and the pressure of another day can leave you feeling as though you never quite recharge.

Your mind becomes busy at bedtime

The moment everything becomes quiet, thoughts and unfinished tasks seem to become louder.

You wake during the night

You may fall asleep but struggle to settle again after waking in the early hours.

Mornings already feel tiring

The day begins before you feel restored, leaving you relying on momentum to keep going.

There is never a proper pause

Work, family and notifications fill the spaces in which you might otherwise slow down.

An hour without demands can help you find a gentler pace.

There is nothing to achieve during your appointment. You can close your eyes, enjoy the quiet and allow your body to become comfortable.

01

Permission to stop

A dedicated appointment with no tasks, screens or expectations competing for your attention.

02

A quieter environment

Gentle treatment in a peaceful setting where conversation is always optional.

03

A regular point of rest

Some clients value having a dependable pause built into otherwise demanding weeks.

Reflexology is a complementary wellbeing treatment and does not diagnose, treat or replace medical care.

Quiet is always an option

You are completely welcome to fall asleep.

I’ll help you get comfortable before beginning the treatment. You do not need to make conversation or concentrate on relaxing.

Some clients remain quietly awake and others drift off. Both are perfectly normal, and I’ll gently let you know when the appointment has finished.

See What Happens
“Rest does not have to be productive. This can simply be an hour in which nobody needs anything from you.”

What happens if I fall asleep?

Nothing to worry about. I’ll continue the treatment quietly and gently wake you at the end.

Can reflexology cure insomnia?

No. Reflexology is a complementary wellbeing treatment rather than a medical treatment for insomnia. Persistent sleep problems should be discussed with an appropriate healthcare professional.

Do I have to stay quiet?

Not at all. You can chat, enjoy the silence or do a little of both. I’ll follow your lead.

Would regular appointments suit me?

Some clients enjoy making reflexology a regular part of their wellbeing routine, while others book only when they feel they need time out.
